I can discount ⅔ of this field of 12 as they have negatives against their names and no recently recorded speed figure leaving me with 4 possibles, the top weight Muatadel is 4th best on a Hamilton time but maybe doesn't want really fast ground or a really fast early pace, Savannah Beau is 3rd best on a time from Pontefract and also doesn't like a fast early pace but this easier course will probably suit them better, 2nd top rated is SWANTON BLUE 16/1 who is 1 of only 2 known front runners in the race and if getting its own way in the lead it could prove very hard to catch but I do have EXTRASOLAR 8/1 rated a few spots higher, both of my top 2 have good trainer and jockey stats so i will back them both with each way bets to cover the 2 angles.
