Monday's Value Bets

5:55 Windsor -

This looks a competitive heat over 5f 10y on good to firm going. Grey Gallion and Tschierscen. The former has a fair level of form while the latter, trained by William Haggas, cost  280,000E. One horse that may go well at big odds is Thomas Girtin. Gary Moore has done well training Richard Green's two-year-olds and they can often be very well backed which bring greater confidence. This bay colt is a son of Canford Cliffs out of a winning mare who was a fair sort. This 45,00E breeze-up purchase is priced 16/1. A recent stakes race entry give hope that connection fancy this two-year-old will go well.

6:10 Wolverhampton -

Interested in Khelly's Edge running here at 25/1. This filly is well bred and connections fancied their chance on both first and second start but things didn't go to plan. Those disappointments could well hide the point this filly has the ability and could defy the odds. Scott Dixon does well on this course and with  the blinkers applied for the first time, I can see this youngster leading and trying to hold on to the line. Could be backed and worth an each-way punt at big odds.
